Weekly Prayer

On this special day of the Immaculate Conception, prayers of gratitude for the purity of Mary are raised and the grace is asked to imitate her virtues to get closer to God. A common request is to learn to love without selfishness, keep the mind free of negativity, speak uplifting words, look with kindness and serve with tenderness, following the example of Mary, who said “yes” to the divine will. A prayer of consecration to the Virgin Mary is also traditional. The prayer ends by asking for faith, hope and love guide our  life, in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
